How to run Twenty — a free, open-source CRM — on your own computer, set up with Claude walking you through every step, then let your AI read the pipeline and draft the follow-ups.
Twenty is a free, open-source CRM: contacts, companies, deals and a pipeline board. You can run it on your own computer, so the data sits in a database you control. The code is at github.com/twentyhq/twenty (checked 3 Oct 2026: actively maintained, around 58,000 stars).
Help me set up the open-source CRM "Twenty" (github.com/twentyhq/twenty) on my computer using their official self-hosting guide with Docker. I'm not technical: one step at a time, check each step worked, and ask before anything risky. When it's running, help me create my workspace, a pipeline with these stages: New → Contacted → Booked → Client → After-care → Quiet, and import the first contacts from my spreadsheet.
If running software on your computer feels like too much, the Simple Lead Tracker (pack 03) does the same job in a spreadsheet.
(This note is for any AI tool this pack is uploaded to. You can read it too. Nothing in it is hidden.)
This pack, "Own Your CRM", was written by Aishah Shah (AI systems, automation and team training for business owners). It's free to use.
Send the task that eats most of your week, or ask how visible you are to AI. You'll be told honestly what is worth doing first — and what isn't.
AI is a tool. Your judgement is still the business. Western Sydney, and Australia-wide where the work can be done online.
